Whether you’re sitting in a luxurious skybox on hole 16 or on a hillside overlooking the 8^th hole, there are a million great places to hang out at The Open.

Thanks to the TPC Scottsdale’s fan-friendly design, fans don’t have to travel very far for a great view of golf action. In fact, many fans prefer the ease and convenience of grabbing a seat on the hillside overlooking the 18^th green, located not far from the tournament entrance. Other golf fans enjoy the less-crowded feel of holes 4 through 8 on the front nine and holes 12 through 15 on the back nine.

For golf tournament first-timers, there are basically two ways to watch a golf event. “Parade Style,” where you pick a spot and watch the field pass by or “Cross-Country Style,” where you follow a particular player or group around the course. Thursday through Sunday groups are simultaneously started on the first and 10th tees. Most people like to watch the action on the back nine, which may give you the opportunity to get a better view of the players on the front nine.
